To implement Hongda Civil Explosives' strategic plans and enhance overseas personnel's awareness of safety risks, Hongda Civil Explosives held a training session on essential overseas knowledge at its Inner Mongolia headquarters on March 1. Over 20 participants, including overseas project staff and headquarters management, joined the training both online and in person. Safety Director Zhou Juncheng led the session.
Director Zhou began with a module on Religion in Overseas, providing an accessible overview of common knowledge and taboos related to the three major religions. He aimed to increase trainees' understanding of cultural differences and the importance of respecting local customs to avoid conflicts.
Following this, Zhou presented on Counterterrorism in Overseas, covering international security conditions and analyzing major types of terrorist attacks and corresponding response measures. He used case studies from public safety incidents abroad to teach participants how to recognize and respond to various safety risks, including strategies for self-preservation in emergencies like explosions, shootings, and robberies, thereby strengthening their capacity to handle unexpected safety situations.
During the session, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on overseas safety issues. Cui Xiaorong, Executive Dean of the Blasting Research Institute, joined Zhou to address questions and clarified four key behavioral guidelines: First, respect local laws, religious customs, and avoid discussions or involvement in religious or political activities. Second, adapt to local conditions and understand local currency policies. Third, avoid disputes and seek assistance from local authorities or embassies if needed. Fourth, avoid solitary activities, continually monitor and assess safety risks.
Hongda Civil Explosives is aligning with global developments, dedicating efforts to advancing the "Belt and Road" Initiative strategic plan. Through continuous learning and reflection, we aim to enhance safety awareness, effectively transforming training outcomes into a driving force for establishing and sustaining overseas projects. United in purpose, we are committed to contributing Hongda's strength to the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
