In late September, under the guidance of the national "the Belt and Road" initiative, Hongda Civil explosives implemented the development strategic goal of becoming "the leading civil explosive enterprise with the first production capacity in China", actively explored the overseas civil explosive market, and sent two delegations to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia for a 10-day visit.

During the inspection and exchange in Uzbekistan, the delegation visited the Kalmakyr copper mine, the largest open-pit mine in Uzbekistan, which is jointly developed by railway and road. The mining area is about 10 square kilometers, the designed mining depth is 660 meters, and the current mining volume is 40 million tons. The Yoshlik-I copper mine, adjacent to Kalmakyr Copper mine, is undergoing intensive infrastructure stripping and will eventually be connected with Kalmakyr Copper mine. The mining scale will reach 160 million tons/year, becoming the first copper mine and the third gold mine in the world. There is still room for further expansion of the mining scale. He expressed strong interest in bilateral cooperation in the fields of civil explosives and mining.

During the inspection and exchange in Kyrgyzstan, the delegation visited the Kyrgyzstan National Gold Company and the mines invested by Capital Mining and China Gold in Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan is rich in mineral resources, especially gold, located on the "gold belt" of the North Tianshan Mountains, there are mainly three metallogenic belts. At present, there are 14 large and medium-sized gold mines in normal production in Kyrgyzstan, and there are more than 10 gold mines under investigation and construction. The country has an urgent need for civil explosive equipment and mining blasting.

During the visit, the delegation fully investigated the current situation of mineral resources development in Central Asia, studied and analyzed the market pattern and development trend of civil explosive and blasting, and deeply exchanged cooperation intentions in joint production of civil explosive equipment, blasting and mining operations, and joint development of mineral resources.

The inspections yielded fruitful results, which led to the construction of the first detonator factory and the first explosive factory by Guangdong Hongda in a joint venture overseas.
