This June is the 22nd national "Safe Production Month".  Recently, the member enterprises of Hongda civil explosives with the theme of "Everyone knows safety, everyone handles emergency",launched emergency drills, safety knowledge competition, safety public class, safety speech competition and other forms of activities, improving the safety awareness and safety accomplishment of employees, and implementing the main responsibility of corporate safety.

Jiangmen Runcheng(member enterprise)

On June 15, under the guidance of the Shuangshui Town government and competent departments at all levels, Jiangmen Runcheng, actively organized and carried out a comprehensive emergency rescue plan drill  on fire safety.

The emergency drill simulated the situation that mountain forest around the warehouse was struck by thundernolt triggering a mountain fire which threatens the safe storage of civil explosive materials. After the discovery of danger, Jiangmen Runcheng immediately launched the specialized emergency plan, established the on-site rescue headquarters, organized personnel to rescue, and reported the accident and rescue situation to the Shuangshui Town government and Xinhui District Emergency Bureau, Bureau of Science, Technology, Industry and Commerce, public Security Bureau, traffic bureau and other departments as well as the superior company.

Received the danger report, Shuangshui town government immediately dispatched personnel to the scene of the accident. Local police stations, fire brigades, and health centers soon arrived for rescue.

As fire spreading, high-temp ash scattered over the warehouse. In order to prevent the warehouse from cathcing fire or even exploding, the scene commander immediately requested to transfer of blasting materials in the warehouse. The drill ended with inventory check by management personnel and on-site alert in the warehouse.

After the drill, professional and technical personnel of third-party security service companies were present to give employees practical training on emergency medical skills, and organized practical training on fire fighting equipment for newly-recruited employees in recent years to ensure that each employee "should know and should master" about fire safety.

Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner Keda Chemical Co.Ltd.

On the morning of June 29, Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner Keda Chemical Co.Ltd. organized the 2023 emergency rescue drill for production safety accidents.

The emulsifying machine in the pharmaceutical room of the simulated emulsifying workshop suddenly caught fire and smoke, the fire spread, and the smoke has escaped from the workshop, causing one person to be seriously injured. The on-site operator found and reported the fire, the monitor immediately pressed the emergency stop button and quickly sounded the alarm, and the on-site staff quickly evacuated.

The company immediately activated an emergency plan. The communication liaison group reports the fire situation at the scene, the search and rescue team carries out the injured, the medical rescue team rescues the injured, the public security warning team ensures the smooth passage of transport vehicles and fire fighting vehicles, the obligatory fire fighting team extinguishes the fire, the rescue transport team transfers dangerous goods at the accident site, and the safety technical support team analyzes and evaluates the safety risk at the accident site, and finally eliminates the danger.

The "Safety Knowledge Competition" activity was composed of four parts: "Emerging", "Uniting", "Striving for victory in danger" and "Battling it out". There were five participating groups. On June 27, Alxa Left Banner North Peace Chemical Co., Ltd. organized an emergency plan drill for production safety accidents. Alxa League industry and information Bureau, Alxa Left banner industry and information Bureau, Zongbeili Town police station related leaders personally guided.

The drill simulated the fire incident of porous granular ANFO production line and the incident of criminals driving an off-road vehicle to the finished product reservoir for robbery.

After the drill, Alatengbagen, deputy director of the Industry and Information Bureau of Alxa League, commented on the need to deeply learn the lessons of the accident in Alxa Xinjing Coal mine, comprehensively carry out safety work, strengthen personnel training, further improve the company's emergency plan drill, and improve the level of emergency response capabilities.

Guangdong Huawei Chemical Co., Ltd. 

On the morning of June 21, Guangdong Huawei Chemical Co., Ltd. carried out an emergency rescue drill for production safety accidents. Xingning City Emergency Management Bureau, Xingning City Science, industry and Commerce Bureau and Yonghe Town related leaders visited the scene for guidance.

The drill simulated an unknown fire at the charging machine in the emulsion explosive production line. If the fire could not be effectively controlled, it might burn the charge roll on the conveyor belt and even cause an explosion.

All the staff of the company conducted a practical test on how to initiate emergency plans and organize fire fighting and self-rescue. It comprehensively strengthened its response capabilities in terms of how to report and dispose, transfer of dangerous goods, emergency command and coordination, alarm and control of related processes, fire fighting and emergency evacuation, safety protection of emergency rescue personnel, equipment and materials for emergency rescue, and environmental treatment of subsequent sewage, and the drill activities reached the expected goals.

Hongda Luohua Civil Explosive Co., Ltd.

On June 21, Guangdong Hongda Luohua Civil Explosive Co., Ltd. carried out a comprehensive emergency drill for fire accidents of explosive storage vehicles. Shen Liuxin, deputy director of Luoding City Industry and Information Technology Bureau, came to the scene to observe and guide.

The simulation of a transfer truck carrying emulsified explosives from the production area to the gate of the explosives depot caused smoke and fire due to excessive engine temperature.

The company immediately activated the emergency plan after receiving the report. The technical team conducts research and analysis on the fire situation of the warehousing vehicle, the emergency rescue team extinguishes the fire and transfers explosives, the on-site emergency repair team ensures the normal operation of the fire pump in the reservoir area, the logistics support team quickly delivers emergency materials such as fire extinguishers and fire hoses to the scene, and the security team is responsible for on-site security warning and guiding emergency rescue personnel and vehicles to enter and exit. The communication Liaison team conducts internal and external alarm liaison and personnel count.

On June 29, Jiuquan Xing 'an Civil Explosive Equipment Co., Ltd. held a safety knowledge competition, with a total of 24 players from 8 teams of the company participating.

The types of questions include required questions, quick answer questions, audience questions and risk questions, covering production safety laws and regulations, industry management regulations, safety management rules and regulations, safety operation procedures, safety production standardization, fire knowledge, emergency escape, occupational disease prevention and typical accident cases.

The atmosphere of the competition scene is warm, and the players are full of spirit and quick response. In the interactive answer session, the staff are enthusiastic and actively raise their hands to answer the question, creating a strong atmosphere of "everyone speaks safety, everyone will respond to emergencies", and fully demonstrating the good spiritual outlook of the staff. After nearly four hours of fierce competition, a total of 1 first prize team, 2 second prize teams, and 2 third prize teams were determined.

On the morning of June 26, Guangdong 401Plant organized a special emergency training and drill for production safety accidents and fire accidents in the large workshop.

The drill is organized and implemented in accordance with the way of "training first, drill later", and two accident drill sites are set up. By watching the safety accident warning film, the company's employees learned the knowledge of fire emergency self-rescue and improved the awareness of fire safety. Exercise subjects set up emergency response, on-site rescue, fire fighting and other subjects, and combined with the machine repair workshop and the surrounding environment of raw and auxiliary materials workshop, set up the transfer of gas tanks, warning evacuation and other links, in order to test the scientificity and practicability of emergency plans.

This exercise has improved the ability to organize, command, coordinate and respond quickly to emergency fire incidents, and has achieved the expected effect.
